A sneak peak...

I love the ritual of a paper calendar and the tangibility of turning to a new page. It’s like the new space we’re creating here at OneSixtyFive: clean and full of hope, waiting to be filled with adventures and experiences.

The new, sun-soaked flooring on the second story of the Main House

Turning the page to this new year at OneSixtyFive means the promise of a newly energized staff, a gorgeous new Main House, an exciting new style of lodging in the Carriage House, and all kinds of surprises in our food and beverage program.

How did we get here?

Lots of time for dreaming, for one thing. Covid’s pace-altering was in many ways a gift. We are all by now familiar with the many stories of lives reimagined, priorities adjusted, and a slowness so unfamiliar in our pre-pandemic world. I am fortunate. My business and my loved ones survived, and I was able to gradually work my way into a new understanding of what life could look like at 165 Park Row. I am also fortunate to have a team around me who has brought that vision to life.

First: a Main House filled with hues that are still warm but are now brighter: think heavy, dark colors replaced with soft beiges and grays. Think wallpaper!

Think amazing hardwood floors that had been hiding under carpet. All new pillow top mattresses and freshly tiled bathrooms. Think Treehouse: a new take on one of our third floor accommodations, furnished with natural accents from Designs Adrift, a rain-head shower, and textural details like sheepskin and sisal.

And this is just the beginning! We have so many more surprises for you, so stay tuned!
